About Me

"Patience and the ability to read light are the foundation of exceptional photography"

I was born in India and moved to Canada permanently in 2009 as an IT professional. That’s when my interest in nature photography began to grow. Like many who start out with a camera, inspired by the stunning images seen in professional portfolios, I initially struggled to capture the beauty I saw in front of me. Upgrading my camera and lenses didn’t make a difference because I was focusing on the wrong aspects of photography.

I began reading books and watching videos from seasoned photographers who had spent years honing their craft. Gradually, I realized that a beautiful view doesn’t always translate into a great photograph. Key elements like focal points, composition, subject matter, and most importantly, the light and how it shapes the image, are what truly draw the viewer in. This approach required me to slow down and thoughtfully analyze each scene, ensuring that every part of the frame had a purpose. As I did this, my skills improved, and I became better at expressing my vision through my photography.

Canada, with its incredible natural landscapes, has been the perfect backdrop for my passion for landscape photography. The diverse, breathtaking scenery has only deepened my love for the art. Being in nature fuels my sense of wonder, whether I’m hiking through forests, climbing mountain trails, or waiting for the perfect light to capture a sunrise. What I enjoy most about photography today is how it allows me to merge my analytical mindset with my artistic vision.
